What is all the hoop-la about camping? People do realize it's just sleeping outside where it's dirty, right?
I feel like camping is a whole lot of effort and planning and packing and preparing just so you can go and get stinky and sleep in an unpleasant situation. It's weird. I tried it and I found it distasteful and boring. Booooooooooo, camping!! You SUCK!

I feel the same too! It's SOO boring when we go camping, what are we supposed to do?! Just sit aroud and collect dirt?

If you're bored when you go camping you're clearly doing it wrong. First things first you need to have a good group of people, your friends not your grand parents. Second, bring booze and if you smoke bring that green sticky stuff. The combination of booze, green sticky stuff, friends, and being in the middle of the woods. It's almost impossible not to have a good time unless one of you gets bitten by a crazed raccoon and even if that happens it'll make a great story.. Learn to have fun wth.

Dam.. the idea of camping is to get outdoors and get away from the bustle of city life. Get out and enjoy nature and just relax... enjoy a nice camp fire, meet fellow campers, enjoy just relaxing... and if you can't do it in a tent... dam it rent a trailer or get a trailer or rv... you can camp and still have some indoor luxuries in a trailer/5th wheel or rv.... you don't have to sleep out in the open unless you think you will like it.... I have been camping since I was a child and I am in my 50's and still love to camp... yes I love a 4 star motel, but getting outdoors is a good thing.. if not... stop the bitching and don't do it!!!! ps.. you don't need booze or green sticky stuff to a great camp out...and sometimes camping with grandparents is the only way you may go camping.... so make the best of it and just enjoy the outdoors...build a camp fire, cook some smore and just have fun..... or Stop complaining!!!!!!
